Using field properties
Field properties show whether a field is required, and whether it allows
links and other properties.
To view field properties
In the Scribe Workbench, select a target field,
right-click the field, and select Field Properties. The Properties dialog
box for the field appears.
The Properties
dialog box provides useful information about the field, such as:
- Data
type and length
- Whether
a value for the field is required
- Default
value if left unlinked
- Name
of base field in the underlying database table
- Whether
the field is virtual
- Additional
remarks about how to use the field. If the remarks do not provide enough information,
check your Saleslogix documentation.
