Use these steps as a starting point for using the Adapter for Saleslogix
as the source.
When using Saleslogix as source, you can build a single object or SQL-compatible
custom query to select only those fields or records you need from Saleslogix
for your source configuration.
To use Saleslogix as the source
If you have not created
a connection to the adapter for this DTS file, create
a connection now.
On the Source
menu, click Configure.
The Configure Source dialog box
appears.
From the drop down list
of connections, select the connection for the Adapter for Saleslogix.
Note: In the Configure
Source dialog box, Saleslogix objects are listed under the Adapter Objects branch of the Data Objects Explorer.
Under the Adapter, expand All Data Objects (alphabetical).
Select either:
Single Data Object —
Select a single object from the list of objects.
Custom Query — Select only those fields or records from Saleslogix that you need for your source configuration to include in a SQL query.
