Samples

The examples in this section will walk through a variety of scenarios involving connecting to a Web Service using the Scribe Adapter for Web Services.

These examples use a test Web Service hosted by Scribe Software. This test Web Service is intended for training purposes only.

To view the sample Web Service, see http://community.scribesoft.com/ScribeSample/ScribeSampleWebService.asmx.

These examples assume that the Scribe Sample database is installed and accessible. If you have not installed the Scribe Sample database, from your Scribe installation folder, right-click InternalDB.exe, select Run as administrator to run the utility. 

The samples are:

• Connecting to a Web Service as a source
• Using a Web method that has a SOAP Header
• Catching a non-SOAP exception error condition
• Using arrays of complex types as a target
• Passing an array to an XML method
