Site Settings Overview

A Site is a remote Insight server that serves as a node in your Integration and provides its logical organization. The information you want to share between different nodes originates, passes through, or terminates at a Site. Individual Site nodes are listed under the Console node in the Console Console. Site Settings is a tool that allows you to configure the default system settings for your entire site. You can configure:

General settings
Email settings
Sleep Period settings
Tracing settings
Auto Recovery settings

The following commands are available at the top of the Site Settings view:

Save — Saves changes made to all tabs in the view.
Cancel — Discards changes made to one or more of the tabs in the view.
If you make changes to one tab and don't save them, then click Cancel from a different tab, the changes you made to the first tab are lost.
Refresh — Updates the view with current data from the server.

Note:

Best practice is to restart Scribe services any time Site Settings are modified.
