File Management security controls access to your local file system for all users and processes. Exposing folders to the Console enables you to perform typical directory browsing as well as moving, renaming, and deleting files and folders.
Note: When you return to the Console after browsing, only the file name (not the full Collaboration path) displays in the box. This is expected behavior and no action is necessary.
To Configure File Management Security
Select the folders you wish to share and then click the right arrow icon to move the selected folders to the Console Shared Folders column.
At a minimum, you should allow access to the following folders:
Note: The installation sets the Application path to \Program Files\Scribe\Utilities. To change the Application path, expand the Integration Servers node, right-click on your server, and then click Properties.
Note: When configuring
File Management security, always
select UNC if both a UNC and physical path appear in the All Folders dialog
box.
For example, if the All Folders dialog box displays C:\Temp
and \\[computer-name]\C\Temp,
select \\[computer-name]\C\Temp as
the folder path.
