Services Overview

The Integration Server is created during the installation process, and consists of the core Windows Services described in the following table:

Service	Description
AdminServer	Provides an access point for the Console and starts Scribe Internal Database maintenance functions if maintenance is enabled.
MonitorServer	Hosts the monitoring process.
BridgeServer	Hosts processes supporting Publishers and Bridges.
MessageServer	Hosts processes supporting Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ).
EventManager	Hosts automated DTS file execution based on Time, File, or Query.

The MessageServer and EventManager services share a pool of MessageProcessor objects. MessageProcessor 0 is reserved for the EventManager and other MessageProcessors are reserved for the MessageServer.
