Links Tab

The Links tab at the bottom of the main Workbench window allows you to view and manage the links for selected Source or Target fields.

To view a link

Select one or more linked field(s) by highlighting each field in either the Source or Target panes.
- Data Links are indicated by arrows joining the Source and Step fields.
- Lookup Links are indicated by a symbol to the left of the field names.

To open a Source or Target link, right-click the link and select the command from the menu.

From a Source Field, you can:
- View Source Field Properties — Opens the Field Properties tab of the Properties dialog box.
- View Step Fields Linked to Source Field — Highlights the fields linked to this field in the Target pane.
From a Step Field, you can open an abbreviated version of the Target pane popup menu. The popup menu only lists the commands that are available from this tab.

Use the buttons on the Links tab to select whether to view Source links or Step links:

To view the target fields linked to a Source field, select Show links to Source field and highlight a Source field.
To view the Source fields linked to a Step field, select Show links to Step field and then highlight a Target step.
