The Scribe Console Users group is a Windows OS group that is created during the Insight installation and controls access to the TIBCO Scribe® Insight server through the Console.
The following users must be added as members to the Scribe Console Users group:
After adding users to the Scribe Console Users group, you must reboot the host machine before the settings will take effect. Also, any time you change members of the Console Users group, you must reboot the host machine.

Note: The user that logs into Scribe services must be in the Scribe Console Users group and the local administrators group.
Additionally, if your site uses a proxy server, the Scribe services log on account must have access to the internet through the proxy server.
