Webhook Test Harness
This sample contact information form demonstrates sending a request to a webhook endpoint to run a Scribe Map contained in an Event Solution.
If you have not already signed up for a trial in the Scribe Platform Sandbox, go to https://dev.scribesoft.com and select Getting Started -> Create Trial to create your account. Once you login, follow the instructions to reset your password.
A sample Solution, Webhook - Update CRM (Sample), has been created for you. Open that Solution and the Create or Update CRM System Map it contains. When the Map opens, select the Wait for Request Block. Copy the Endpoint URL: displayed at the bottom right to use in this form.
To send a request to the webhook endpoint, fill out the form below and click Send it!. The live, synchronous response displays below the form. This application POSTs a JSON message to your Endpoint URL and shows you the response. Each time you send a request to the Endpoint URL, records in your Sample CRM system are updated.
To monitor the execution of this Event Solution and Map, use the API 101 Solution Monitoring Reference Application. Refer to the Simple Monitoring Application (101) documentation in our Developer Portal for step-by-step instructions. The Solution Monitoring Application displays Solution execution success or failure, and the number of records processed in the Sample CRM system provided with your Development Trial account.
