Restarting An On-Premise Agent
Use the Restart Gear menu options on the Agents page or Agents Dashboard Widget to stop and restart an On-Premise Agent without having to go to the Windows Services window. Only Administrator Users can restart an Agent. Cloud Agents cannot be restarted from the Agents page.
There are two restart options on the Gear menu :
- Restart Now — Interrupts any Solutions that are running and then restarts the Agent. Interrupting running Solutions may result in errors. See Viewing Execution History for information on locating Solution errors. See Solution Edit Execution History.
- Restart Later — Restarts the Agent after any Solutions that are currently running have completed. Solutions are paused if they are scheduled or selected to start after this Restart option is selected.
