Using Object And Field Properties
The Field Properties dialog box shows information about a field.
For target fields, the field properties information is often needed when you are deciding how to handle a particular data field. For example, if the field has a picklist, the Field Properties dialog box shows the picklist items that the data validates against. A picklist is a table of name-value pairs that specifies the valid values for a field.
To open the Field Properties dialog box, in the Source or Target pane of the Workbench, right-click the field whose properties you want to review and click Field Properties.
