Configure adapter defaults for each Saleslogix database that will be
used with the Scribe Workbench. These defaults eliminate the need for
users to configure various settings each time a DTS file
is created.
The defaults are used for the entire enterprise and can
be modified for each DTS from the Adapter Settings window.
Saleslogix defaults are initially supplied during installation.
To set the adapter defaults
Browse to the ..\Scribe folder and double-click MetadataConfig.exe.
Select SlgxBOA2
Adapter from the list of adapters.
In the Adapter
Metadata Configurator dialog box, click Edit
Metadata.
Log on to the Saleslogix
database. The Edit Metadata - Adapter for Saleslogix dialog box appears.
Select a predefined Saleslogix database connection from the list.
If desired, change the adapter defaults for the selected Saleslogix database. See Changing the Adapter Settings for more information.
Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
Note: When you first open the Edit Metadata - Adapter
for Saleslogix dialog box, the default
information supplied during the installation displays.
