Expand the Console site node,
and then select Integration Server.
Select the Process you wish
to terminate, and then click Delete.
A message appears asking how you wish to remove the process.
You can terminate the process
in one of two ways:
Terminate process — Immediately kills the
process, much like the End Process command in the Windows Task Manager.
When you delete a process using this option, it is recorded as
Terminated. A Terminated process is not considered a
completed process. It does not have an end time, and the job statistics are not
properly recorded.
Note: Select this option if the job is stalled.
Stop process on next commit — Finishes the
current transaction (step, row, or rows) depending on the
commit level set in the DTS. After the current transaction finishes, the
process stops, much like clicking Cancel while a job is running in the
Workbench.
When you delete a process using this option, it is recorded as
Fatal Error but it is considered complete. It has an
end time and the statistics are properly recorded.
