By default, the Scribe services log on as the system account. The system account has access only to files on the local server and does not have access to files on other servers.
Scribe services need access to network servers in some integration scenarios, such as when the collaboration root folder is located on a shared folder on the Insight server or a different server.
You may want to change the services to logon as an existing domain account or create a new account that provides only the needed access. If you change the services logon account, all Insight processes initiated by the services operate in the security context of that account. If you change the account, be sure that the user you select has access to all of the resources, including files, queues, etc., used in all of the integrations.
