Custom Query Fields Tab

Use the Fields tab to select the fields to be included in the source result set. Select the object and field names from the drop-down lists.

  1. Optionally specify an alias for the field name. This is particularly useful if you have duplicate field names in your objects. The second instance of the field name needs to be aliased for the Insight process to handle it correctly. Another use case for alias field names is when you are creating a Data View in Console. Aliasing the field names could enhance the display when the view is executed.
  2. Highlight a row and use the "up” and "down” arrows to move the field in the field list. Click Add All Fields to display each field in a separate row, rather than one row displaying "*”.
  3. Click Add to add a new field, or select from the drop-down lists in the last (empty) row under Selected Output Fields.
  4. Click Delete to remove a field from the field list.
