The DTS file stores the schema information for a connection as it was the last time you connected to it and saved the DTS file. When you reopen the DTS file, Insight compares the old schema information in the DTS file to the current live connection and tries to reconcile the differences.
Warning: Any objects or fields that do not exist in the new connection are listed in a message window. If you click OK, links for these columns are permanently deleted from the DTS file.
To avoid deleting the links
Click Cancel and return to the main window where you can examine Source and Target data and reconfigure the links as needed.
