Transactions Report

Use the Transaction Errors report to view errors that occurred while running a job. The information displays in the Transaction Error Report, and is useful when debugging a job and resolving rejected rows.

The Report Viewer allows you to view, resized and print reports.

The Transaction Error report displays the same information that you can see in the lower section of the Execution Log and enables you to print that information. The Execution Log report in the Console cannot be printed.

To view the report

1. On the Reports menu, select Reports. The Execution Log Viewer appears.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select a row in the Execution grid (upper).
4. Click Transaction Errors. The Transaction Errors Report appears.

Note: You can also open this report from the Run Complete dialog box.

Contents of the Transaction Error Report

• DTS file name
• Start date/time and end date/time
• Source name
• Target name
• Number of rejected source rows
• Rejected row data source name
• Rejected row table name
• Number of failed operations
• Error detail for each source row and step
• The fatal error code and the fatal error message
