Use the Data Objects Explorer in the Formula Editor to:
To display data objects
Note: If a connection is used as both a source and a target, the source connection displays in the Data Objects explorer as MyConnection:SOURCE. In this case, Insight creates separate connections for the source and target. Insight acts on the target connection by default. Labeling the source allows you to ensure your function is acting against the expected data.
To insert a data object directly into the Formula Editor
Note: Insert in Formula buttons are only enabled when you select a connection name, data object, or field name.
To view property details about a data object
Note: Properties buttons are only enabled if you select a valid data object or field name.
Note: The Data Objects Explorer remains open until you close it or close the Edit Formula dialog box.
