TIBCO Scribe® Insight allows you to view and process Unicode data when working
with connections that are Unicode-compliant.
To use Unicode data with your Insight DTS files, remember:
For text files that may contain
Unicode data, use the Unicode
Text Adapter (available with Insight 7.5). Note that the Insight Text
Wizard does not support Unicode data.
When creating Unicode-compliant
connections, select Support
Unicode data from either the Connections
tab or the Advanced
Connection Options. The Support Unicode data
checkbox will only be available if your connection supports Unicode data.
If you are updating existing DTS
files to use Unicode data, you must select the Support
Unicode data option as described above.
Select a Unicode font or character
set from the Data
Font tab of the Insight Application Options.
Note: Make
sure that all of your data sources provide the same level of Unicode support. If you create a DTS file that inserts Unicode
data into a non-Unicode data source, you may corrupt the target data.
