TIBCO Scribe® Insight provides the following File Menu commands.
| Command | Icon | Definition |
|---|---|---|
| New |
|
Create a new DTS file. |
| Open |
|
Open an existing DTS file. Use the DTS Preview section at the bottom of the Select DTS dialog box to view Preview (summary) information about DTS files. Highlight a DTS file in the file browser pane, then select the Preview checkbox to display Preview information about the spec. A list of recently opened DTS files appears at the bottom of the File menu. |
| Open Offline |
Open an existing DTS file in offline, read-only mode. Opening a DTS in offline mode may be useful when, for example, you want to view or copy a formula from an existing DTS where the source and/or target connections used in the DTS are unavailable. When opening the DTS in offline mode:
|
|
| Open Next DTS |
|
Close the current DTS file and opens the next DTS file in the chain using the Next Job tab in the DTS Settings dialog box. |
| Close | Close the current DTS file. | |
| Save |
|
Save the current DTS file. If this is a new DTS file, you are asked for a name. DTS files must have a *.dts extension. |
| Save As |
Save the current DTS file with a different file name. After creating multiple copies of a DTS with the Save As command, verify that the source and target settings in the original DTS are correct. |
|
| Properties | Open the DTS Properties dialog box to edit DTS file property information or add a help file to a DTS. | |
| Recent Files | Select a recent DTS to open. | |
| Exit | Close the application. |
