Adding Connections To A Map

Connections are used in Maps to configure communication with a datastore. Integration Maps support multiple target Connections. See Target Connections for additional information.

Note: When selecting a Connection in a Map, TIBCO Scribe® Online only displays Connections that can be used with the current Agent.

  1. Open a Map.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Connections panel and select Add Connection to display the Add Connection dialog box,
  3. Select a Connection from the drop-down list or select Create a New Connection.
  4. Select OK to add the Connection to the Map. The Connection name displays in a Connection bar. A drop-down arrow collapses and expands the list of Blocks associated with this Connection.

If you only need a single Connection, you can begin building your Map. If you want to use multiple targets, add more Connections.
