Viewing the Alert Log

Use The Alert Log To View And Manage All alerts generated at the selected site. A Site is a remote Insight server that serves as a node in your Integration and provides its logical organization. The information you want to share between different nodes originates, passes through, or terminates at a Site. Individual Site nodes are listed under the Console node in the Console Console.

To View The Alert Log

  1. Expand the Console site node.
  2. Expand the Administration node, and then click Alert Log. The Alert Log window opens.
  3. Select an alert from the list.

The Alert Log contains the following columns:

Note: You can also view the Alert Log for a specific Collaboration.

Filtering and Sorting the Alert Log

The Alert Log displays the alerts in columnar format. You can change which alerts display using the filters, and you can sort the order that the alerts display in the columns, but you cannot change which columns display.

Filtering

Filtering the Alert Log allows you to see only those alerts that meet the filter criteria.

You can filter on an alert status and alert type:

You can select any combination of alert types.

Sorting

You can sort the Alert Log by Alert Date:

Note: If you change the filter or sort options, the changes do not take affect until you click Refresh.
