Reverting A Map To A Prior Revision
Using the Revisions dialog you can revert the current working copy of a Map to a prior revision.
Considerations
- A reverted Map is incomplete until it is opened, validated, and saved.
- A Map locked by another user cannot be reverted to a prior version. See Locking And Unlocking Maps to unlock the Map before reverting to a prior revision.
- When a Map is duplicated, the most recent revision of the original Map is used.
- The Net Change feature for a reverted Map uses the Most Recent Record Processed date stored for the last execution of any revision of the Map not the date that was part of the stored revision.
Reverting
- Open the Solution containing the Map you want to revert.
- From the Gear menu
for that Map select Revisions.
- On the Revisions dialog, locate the revision you want to make the working copy of the Map and from the Gear menu
select Revert.
- Select OK on the confirmation dialog.
- Select OK on the Success dialog.
The Revisions dialog now contains a new revision at the top of the list. The comment is automatically generated and specifies the revision used as the new working copy of the Map. For example, the Comment might be Revert map to revision 10, indicating that revision 10 is now the working copy of the Map.
