Edit

Opens the selected Map for editing. Changes to Maps are saved immediately when you select Apply or OK on the Map. If a scheduled Solution runs while a Map is being edited, any saved changes are used when the Solution runs. To prevent a Solution from using a Map that is in the process of being edited, use the Disable option.

Duplicate

Creates a copy of the selected Map with the name Copy of mapname, where mapname is the name of the original Map. New Maps are saved immediately.

Duplicated Map Status is set as follows, if the original Map is:

Incomplete — New Map is set to Incomplete.

Enabled or Disabled — New Map is set to Disabled

Map configuration fields updated when the Map is run, such as Last Run Date/Time, are not included in the duplicated Map.

The most recent revision of the original Map is used when making a copy. See Map Revisions.

For a duplicated Event Map to generate the required endpoint URL, set the Map Status to Enabled, then open the Map and save it.

Delete

Deletes the Map from the Solution. A warning message displays. Select OK to permanently delete the selected Map from this Solution.

Deleting a Map removes it permanently from TIBCO Scribe® Online.

Run

Runs the selected Map immediately without running any other Maps in the Solution. If the Solution or any other Map in the Solution is running, this option is disabled. To monitor the status of the Map navigate to Execution History. See Viewing Execution History..

Revisions

Opens the Revisions dialog, which contains a list of revisions for the selected Map. Use the Revisions dialog to revert the Map to a prior revision or export a revision. See Map Revisions.

Lock/Unlock

Locks the Map so it cannot be edited by another user or unlocks a locked Map. Only Administrator Users can manually lock and unlock Maps. See Locking And Unlocking Maps.

Once a Map is complete and has no Errors, it is Enabled :

To turn a Map off, select Disable. The Map is ignored when the Solution runs.

To turn a Map back on, select Enable.
