Marketplace TIBCO Scribe® Certified Connectors
When you select Marketplace from the menu, the left pane displays all of the TIBCO Scribe® Certified Connectors that have been developed by TIBCO, TIBCO partners, and independent software vendors. The right pane displays additional details about the selected Connector and, depending on the Connector, displays an Install, Request Install, or Uninstall option.
Use these Connectors to perform specific tasks within TIBCO Scribe® Online or to allow your business to work with other software applications.
The Connectors available in the Marketplace have been certified by TIBCO Scribe® Online. Please contact your TIBCO Partner for more information.
TIBCO Certified Connectors - Marketplace Connectors Page
From the Marketplace TIBCO Scribe® Certified Connectors page you can:
- Search for a Connector — Use the Search field at the top to locate a specific Connector by name or based on text in the Connector description. The Search results are retained until you remove the value in the Search field, even if you navigate away from the Marketplace and return later.
- Request a new Connector — If you can't find the Connector you need, use the Request New Connector! link to contact TIBCO Software, Inc. and ask about the Connector you need. It may already be in the works.
- Find out more about a specific Connector — Select a Connector icon or name to see Connector information in the right pane.
- Go to the Connector Help or the Connector vendor's website — Select the Connector icon in the right pane to go either to the TIBCO Scribe® Online Help for that Connector or directly to the vendor's website. There is no TIBCO Scribe® Online Help for Connectors that are produced and maintained by third-party vendors. Those icons link to the vendor's website.
- Install a Connector —Select the Connector and in the right pane, select Install. The Connector is installed in the ..\Scribe Software\TIBCO Scribe® Online Agent\Connectors folder on the computer where the On-Premise Agent is installed. If the Connector supports a Cloud Service and you have provisioned a Cloud Service, the Connector is also installed for that Cloud Service.
Note: Once the Connector is installed, you can create a Connection for any Solution or Agent that supports this Connector. For more information, see Managing Connections.
- Request Install — Some connectors require that you contact the vendor directly to access the installation. Select Request Install from the right pane to navigate to a vendor specified URL and request the associated Connector. You may need to provide your Organization ID, which is found on the Organization page under the Organization Information tab.
- Uninstall a Connector — To remove a Connector, select the Connector and in the right pane select Uninstall. The Connector is removed from your list of available Connectors and uninstalled from any Agents.
Note: When a Connector is uninstalled, the Agent is restarted once any running Solutions complete their executions and the Agent is completely idle.
Note: If your Organization is using a Connector from the TIBCO Scribe® Online Marketplace, and the Connector is no longer available, an error displays in Execution History when you run a Solution using this Connector. See Viewing Execution History.
