Adding A Connection

When you add a connection, that connection is available to every DTS on your system.

To add a connection

  1. In the Workbench, select View > Connections. The Connection Manager dialog box appears.
  2. Click New. The Add a Connection dialog box appears.
  3. Browse through the Data Sources tree to select a data source for this connection and click OK. The Connection Settings dialog box appears.

    Depending on how TIBCO Scribe® Insight is configured at your site, you can connect to the following:

  • From the Add a Connection dialog box, after you select a data source, you can optionally click Advanced to set advanced connection options. You can also select these options on the Global Connection Settings tab in the Connection Settings dialog box.
  • Connection names can be up to 32 characters long.
